As someone who finds it really difficult to find a foundation that matches my skin tone, I am always on the look out for the holy grail of foundations. I recently came across Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer. I had actually never heard of him but it turns out that he's quite famous. His foundation is a combination of concealer and foundation in one so it lessens tha application time. I ordered a few different swatches as I didn't know what shade I am. The numbering system doesn't seem to mean much, you have to pay attention to the description of the shade.
I tried the SX 10 which is a medium beige. Depending on the coverage you want, it can be built up. It is pretty thick so a primer is definitely recommended to allow for easier application. I wanted a lighter coverage so I used a damp foundation blending brush. The end result was a beautiful airbrushed result. My undereye circles were also wiped away with this foundation (no additional concealer needed!). Don't be fooled by the size of the container for the price. You honestly use a very small amount so it would last a very long time indeed. I would recommend a translucent setting powder to finish the look. I've heard great things about Ben Nye Luxury Powder in Banana. This will be my next purchase!
